“I will comfort those who mourn, bringing words of praise to their lips. May they have abundant peace, both near and far,” says the Lord, who heals them.” Isaiah 57:19
I encourage you not only to praise God for the good He’s done but also for the difficult times He’s allowing you to go through as well. YES! Praise God for the difficult timesHe’s allowing you to go through. Now before you think I’m crazy let me explain.
Realize you serve a God who is majestic and sovereign. Nothing happening in your life now is ‘news’ or beyond His control. With that being said, God has given you the end story to the situation you’re faced with. He’s told you through scripture that all things work together for [the] good to them that love [Him] (Romans 8:28). Surely you love God if you’re reading this.
Notice the bible verse declares, “all things work together for good to them that love God.” It doesn’t say some things will work out or that it will work out for everyoneexcept you; it says ALL THINGS work together for YOUR good. Your situation may not be good but it WILL work out for your good. Hallelujah! That’s a reason worth praising God for right there.
