If you’re like most people, praising God is the last thing you think to do when faced with challenges. It’s easier to bicker and complain than to praise God. However, I encourage you not to exalt the bad in your life, but to instead praise God who’s able to change that situation around.
Philippians 4:4 states, “rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!” Sometimes you have to push all the mess aside – all the hurt, pain and challenges of life and reflect on the goodness of Jesus Christ.
Think about what He’s done for you. Surely God is worthy to be praised. However, with the devil magnifying every bad and difficult thing in your life, you oftentimes mustPUSH your way into a praise – even when your flesh is unwilling to lift one up.
