End times
“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
2 Timothy 3:1-7 KJV
End times are upon us. Having witnessed many of these very things right from a church movement. They have been deceived. Always beware of those who have a form of godliness but don’t truly claim the power of GOD.
They depend on their religion to get them to heaven but have no real relationship with Jesus. The church handbook is more important to them than the word of GOD.
Keep your eyes to heaven and off of people and church movements. Have a personal relationship with Jesus and not a religion.
Always look for true believers. If they are pressuring you to walk in the ways they preach and the by laws of the church be aware it’s a cult.

Fake Christians
We live in a perilous times just as the bible says we would and many false prophets would arise. There have been many rise to the for front in recent years. Many have replaced Jesus with a man from a certain political party. Many churches in the holiness movement have lost their way and now preach a political message.
Narrow is the way that leadith life and few there be that find it. The anti christ has now arisen in the holiness movement. Be careful my fellow believers, do not be deceived fellow Christian. Now is a time to prayerfully walk as many have fallen away. Oh they still go to church and do what the believe is worship but it is deception.
These are the fake christians, they proclaim to love God but do not follow his word. They are full of hate and rage, they are quick to shead blood and talk about their neighbor. They are quick to hurt and slander. The Love of God is not in them and they are false prophets.
Stay close to God my friends and stay rooted in prayer.

Promise
Behind the Mask
I think it is pitiful and rather sad that about the only time you can find a fellow citizen who is not a “phony” is when he is mad. In our kind of society, most people feel that they must always be pretending, continually “putting on a front.”
So, they are never their real selves until they get mad! When Jesus faced His bitter religious enemies as recorded in John 8:47, there was no pretending, nothing staged for dramatic effect. Jesus confronted them with the words: “He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God!”
These were firm and severe words; His enemies answered with angry and insulting words. These men were mad; they were letting go. They had given up pretense. They were acting naturally now, showing what they were within.
As humans, we are what we do! If what we do proves us to be wrong, then it is either despair or obtaining the help we need. Jesus came to change our natures. He came to break old habits of sin, to break and conquer them!
Our Sovereign Lord
How can you be a Christian and not be aware of the sovereignty of the God who has loved us to the death?
To be sovereign, God must be the absolute, infinite, unqualified ruler in all realms in heaven and earth and sea. To be Lord over all the creation, He must be omnipotent. He must be omniscient. He must be omnipresent. With all that is within me, I believe that the crucified and risen and glorified Savior, Jesus Christ, is the sovereign Lord. He takes no orders from anyone. He has no counselors and no advisers. He has no secretary to the throne. He knows in the one effortless act all that can be known and He has already lived out our tomorrows and holds the world in the palm of His hand.
That is the Lord I serve! I gladly own that I am His; glory to God! The Christ we know and serve is infinitely beyond all men and all angels and all archangels, above all principalities and powers and dominions, visible and invisible—for He is the origin of them all!
GOD Understands Us
We should revel in the joy of believing that God is the sum of all patience and the true essence of kindly good will!
Because He is what He is, we please Him most, not by frantically trying to make ourselves good, but by throwing ourselves into His arms with all our imperfections and believing that He understands everything—and loves us still!
The God who desires our fellowship and communion is not hard to please, although He may be hard to satisfy. He expects from us only what He has Himself supplied. When He must chasten us, He even does this with a smile—the proud, tender smile of a Father who is bursting with pleasure over an imperfect son who is coming every day to look more and more like the One whose child he is!
This is the best of good news: God loves us for ourselves. He values our love more than He values galaxies of newly created worlds.
He remembers our frame and knows that we are dust!

Dedicated to My Father on this Fathers Day
The Gift God Gave Me Was You
I will never say goodbye to you my Father
because I know this is not the end for us to see each other.
You will only be going to a place where there's no pain nor suffering.
I am happy for you, for you will be with God.
For now we need to go in separate ways.
I remember how your arms hold me and give me strength.
You were always there to listen, love, and defend me in everything.
You were my very best friend.
In my triumphs you were always proud.
I'm very grateful and proud to call you my dad.
Here deep inside my heart you'll always be.
I would give up everything I have just to hug you one more time.
I remember the last time we had a long talk and the time we had.
If only I could turn back the time I would let you know more how much I love you and your testimony.
I felt the world stop and my heart stop beating when you were gone.......
How I wish I was only dreaming.
Just like the rain; tears fell down from my eyes, I couldn't speak for awhile.
Thank you Dad....
For always understanding, listening, caring, and loving me your whole life.
Your testimony and your giving to the Lord. You taugh me so much that I did realize till you were gone.
I thank you for being the greatest Dad in the world. I am who I am because of you. Thank You !!
The greatest gift God gave me was YOU........ my Dad...
It's difficult to let you go but I must...
I must return the gift God gave me...
Till then;
See you in Heaven.........

The Conditions of Peace
In a world like ours, with conditions being what they are, what should a serious-minded man or woman do?
First, accept the truth concerning yourself. You do not go to a doctor to seek consolation, but to find out what is wrong and what to do about it.
Then seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Seek through Jesus Christ a right relationship to God and then insist upon maintaining a right relation to your fellow man.
Set about reverently and honestly to amend your doings. Magnify God, mortify the flesh, simplify your life. Take up your cross and learn of Jesus Christ, to die to this world that He may raise you up in due time.
If you will do these things in faith and love, you will know peace—the peace of God that passes all understanding.
You will know joy—the joy of resurrection. You will know too the comfort of the indwelling Spirit of God, for you have sought to do the will of God at any price!

Potent Prayers
Potent Prayers
Ask thee a sign of the Lord thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above. – Isa 7:11 KJV
Make thy petition deep, O heart of mine,
Thy God can do much more
Than thou canst ask;
Launch out on the Divine,
Draw from His love-filled store.
Trust Him with everything;
Begin today,
And find the joy that comes
When Jesus has His way!
—Selected
We must keep on praying and waiting upon the Lord, until the sound of a mighty rain is heard. There is no reason why we should not ask for large things; and without doubt we shall get large things if we ask in faith, and have the courage to wait with patient perseverance upon Him, meantime doing those things which lie within our power to do.
We cannot create the wind or set it in motion, but we can set our sails to catch it when it comes; we cannot make the electricity, but we can stretch the wire along upon which it is to run and do its work; we cannot, in a word, control the Spirit, but we can so place ourselves before the Lord, and so do the things He has bidden us do, that we will come under the influence and power of His mighty breath. —Selected
“Cannot the same wonders be done now as of old? Where is the God of Elijah. He is waiting for Elijah to call on Him.”
The greatest saints who ever lived, whether under the Old or New Dispensation, are on a level which is quite within our reach. The same forces of the spiritual world which were at their command, and the exertion of which made them such spiritual heroes, are open to us also. If we had the same faith, the same hope, the same love which they exhibited, we would achieve marvels as great as those which they achieved. A word of prayer in our mouths would be as potent to call down the gracious dews and melting fires of God’s Spirit, as it was in Elijah’s mouth to call down literal rain and fire, if we could only speak the word with that full assurance of faith wherewith he said it. —Dr. Goulburn, Dean of Norwich
What an encouraging devotional and convicting one. Lord help me to follow those footsteps of faith. You are the same GOD today as yesterday or as in the days of Elijah. My our faith be strengthened, may we resolve to live each day with faith believing all thing are possible through You oh LORD.
